I received my undergraduate at Rockhurst College, graduating with Honors in 1977 and my Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Washburn University School of Law, in Topeka, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May 1981. I have been continuously engaged in the practice of law since my admission to the bar for the State of Kansas and Federal District Court for the District of Kansas in 1981. I am also admitted to practice before the United States 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Since 1981 my legal practice has been primarily in the areas of civil litigation involving different types of personal injury claims, commercial claims, domestic and employment matters.
